Who doesn't love a good in-home baking session?! I do! I've always loved Pinterest styled in home baking sessions, so this year I really wanted to do a few! Lucky for me my friend, Jaime, was totally up for it and is maybe almost equally excited as I am to do some creative fun outlets like this! So I asked her if we could use her gorgeous home for some in-home pictures and it's giving me all the feels!! I love spring and summer, I really do, I love all the seasons apart from the long winter, but there is just nothing like the holidays. I'm embracing Halloween a little more now that I have Iris, dressing her up and doing all the festive things, but I am not a usual Halloween fan. However, I'll take all the pastel pumpkins, apple pickin', and pretty falling leaves! Anyways, for a fun treat I decided to make little monster rice krispies and a classic spice cake. The girls loved them and honestly any treat will do when it comes to kids, but it's always fun to make it festive! I also wanted to use this shoot to display examples of a more lifestyle photoshoot for the holidays! I'm a sucker for beautiful moments and when it comes to this time of year, nothing keeps a memory like a photo! Now that Halloween is over and November is here, it's acceptable to start talking Thanksgiving and Christmas, so proceeding this post I will be posting some mock Christmas card examples with some pictures to show you what it might look like with a more lifestyle styled shoot! I'm a sucker for a great holiday card, something that's simple and makes a beautiful statement. So following this I'll be sharing some ideas/examples with you guys and some more photos from this fun little styled session.
