Who doesn't love a good trip to New York City in the summer?! I try to do a little bit of research before each trip or take recommendations for the next best place to visit. Recently I've been on the hunt for little mini getaways that make me feel as though I traveled further than I actually did! I don't know about you but it's so nice to just have one really great day to escape the normal every day life. Especially when it involves pretty places with pretty food!
So if you are planning a trip to the big city anytime soon maybe you should check out one or a few of these gorgeous spots! I'm dying to try them all out. I've had my eye on most of them for quite awhile and they are keepers for sure.
1. While We Were Young

This has got to be one of the prettiest little spots I ever have laid eyes on! It's small like most places in the city, but boy is it easy on the eyes! It has such a classic vibe yet so modern! Exactly my style! An absolutely perfect spot for a day out with the ladies. Their menu gives a modern take on yummy dishes. Like kale chicken and waffles, sounds intimidating but I've heard delicious! Healthy/Comfort food all at once! Not to mention their drink menu is so beautiful. This is a must stop for me here soon, who wants to join me?!
2. Maman

Maman is like a little French retreat! It has a beautiful simplicity to it! Very dainty and quaint. I feel like you could sit and talk for hours here in all its peacefulness. I'm a sucker for any place with European roots!
I'm ready to stop in here just to get a cup of joe in one of these gorgeous cups! They are pretty much souvenir worthy!
3. Two Hands

I think this table display pretty much speaks for itself!! They have a ridiculous menu! So unique and so beautiful! Not a good menu for a somewhat indecisive person like me when everything looks amazing. Not to mention they sure know how to make a cup of coffee. I will one hundred percent be stopping in here this summer.

They also have a great vibe inside! Airy and bright! Perfect for a Sunny day and time with friends.
4. The Butcher's Daughter

I have fallen in love with this spot! It is a tropical oasis hidden among the city! They create a gorgeous menu of healthy vegetarian and most vegan foods and drinks. I can't wait to try their fresh pressed juice! The earthy tones, leafy greens, pops of yellow, gorgeous lighting?! How could you not visit!

5. La Pecora Bianca

Pretty much just class all around! This restaurant could not be more beautiful. They have an insanely inventive take on Italian food. They utilize fresh ingredients all over the country and use organic ingredients in their homemade pastas and everything! You really can't go wrong here! I wouldn't mind going on a date here, I don't know about you?!

6. Cha Cha Matcha

For all of you matcha lovers out there! This cafe is super fun and retro and all kinds of pink! They provide a huge variety of pretty, bright, and colorful drinks. Perfect spot for a quick stop!
7. Cafe Henrie

Another super fun and retro pink spot! Small yet fun menu with yummy food. Acai Bowls, Banana Bread, Burgers. Pretty much great for every friend you've got! Perfect for a double date with your bestie.
8. Tiny's and The Bar Upstairs

The one place on this list I've actually already eaten at! We ate here for dinner after we found my wedding dress at The Lovely Bride! They have a small yet very well thought out and executed menu! It's very hip inside and cozy with it's dim light. Not to mention the outside is one of the most Pinteresty places around! Even if you can't stop to eat, it makes for a cute picture!
