Iris turns 4!✨

My little chicken turned four over the weekend and man time really does fly! She grows more and more wonderful each year! If you know Iris you know she is a little ball of light. She really is something special. So joyful in all things, she really is always soo excited about every little thing! She appreciates the smallest details of life and really makes the magic of things come to life. It’s like you get to experience being a kid all over again with her! She is hilarious, honestly though she will make you laugh all the time, which we all thoroughly enjoy. She has the kindest heart and is such a sweet friend. She is incredibly smart and really has an attention for detail. She will really ask you hard questions all the time that have you even wondering yourself and searching for answers, a quality I truly love about her. She’s my little fairy!✨ She’s whimsical and girly and all things dainty. It’s always such a special time when her birthday comes around and I get to reflect on all the things that make her unique! So naturally this year she wanted an enchanted forest themed birthday party, whimsical and magical just like her, so that’s just what I did! It was filled with princess details, unicorns, magical fairy colors, and wintery forest details of course. For food we had three different soups ( Iris’s favorite food), a fresh salad with nuts and berries, and fresh bread with a sweet whipped honey butter and a savory whipped garlic herb butter. I had cider with cinnamon sticks, water with fresh cranberries, and a whimsical hot cocoa bar. The real star of the night though is always the desserts! They are just too fun! We had a unicorn white chocolate raspberry cake, whimsical tree and deer sugar cookies, ritz cracker peanut butter/chocolate cookies, white chocolate sparkle pretzels, and pastel filled cannolis. All in all it turned out to be a fun and delicious event! I hope you enjoy looking through below! I love getting to throw her a fun party every year and this year was definitely one of my favorites along with last year’s nutcracker theme.✨ We don’t have enough room at our house for large parties so this year we had it at my moms house again, but I also took some detail shots at my house before hand!💕 I can’t wait for our future “ forever” home where I can host the parties at our house!!
