Gender Reveal!

I was so excited to be able to put on another gender reveal party this summer! We did one with Iris and I knew I wanted to do it again, because it’s just so much fun! This time I was inspired by summer and decided to go with an ice cream theme for the party! I started by searching for invitations and discovered this wonderful site www.basicinvite.com where you could custom color your invitations which was a huge plus when it comes to theming a whole party! Then after creating the invitations I started ordering little details and putting together a Pinterest board to make sure everything went together. I knew I would order my cake from the best, www.electriccitybakehouse.com, and she definitely delivered as expected!! I also knew I wanted to order cookies from Cathy, Instagram: cookiesbycathy, as they are always so perfect. Then I added little details like plates from Meri Meri and little rattles, Sugarfina gummies, ice cream bar etc. I also got incredibly lucky because Target literally had a bunch of blue and pink vintage ice cream stuff by chance right before the party, I’m not gonna lie I was in shock when I saw blue and pink ice cream stuff in the dollar section! For food we did three different sandwiches: turkey mozzarella with pesto mayo on ciabatta, chicken salad cranberry croissants, and Italian wraps. Then I had a fresh spinach and spring salad with blueberries and nuts, and corn on the grill! Nice and light to save room for lots of desserts! All in all it was a great party and to top it all off was finding out we are adding another little girl to our family and we couldn’t be happier! Having all of our family there to be able to celebrate during such an exciting time is something I will always cherish. Also, Iris wished so badly for a sister and I could cry I’m so happy she got her very wish! Two little girls🌸🌸, I never would have dreamed!✨ Also, shoutout to my mom for letting me use her house for the party since we don’t have space in our little rental home, but I will say I can’t wait to throw parties in our future home hopefully not too far away!💕
